WORKOUT, REST, REPEAT

Humans need to move every day. Period. We often see vacations as a way to “cheat” on our diets, exercise plans, and sleep. While it’s important to detox and reset, it’s also imperative to understand how to create a balance in your every day life. This retreat offers you a way to be active while on holiday and sends you back to your day-to-to day life feeling refreshed and eager to go back “normal” life.

HOW DO I BOOK?

  1. Pick your room below - all based on single or double occupancy.

  2. Email Sara with your top two room choices - if you want to save money, stay in the cottage or two bedroom king and I’ll pair you up with other retreaters…or bring a friend!

  3. Send a $200 deposit to Venmo (mindbodylove). Full amount due by January 17th. The deposit is non-refundable, but may be used toward a future retreat.

  4. Once your spot is secured, you will receive an email with questions on your preferences for food, yoga poses, favorite songs, injuries and concerns, as well as information on how to get to Carmel Valley and help with transportation coordination, etc.

SCHEDULE

WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
Friday Night (3pm check-in)
5:30pm                      Meet and Greet
6:00pm-7:00pm      Vinyasa yoga with focus on hips
7:15pm                      Happy Hour + homemade popcorn (I have been asked by many of you to make this)
7:45pm                      Free time for dinner, hot tub, wine, fireside chats, whatever! If you play music, bring your guitar!

Saturday
7:00-8:00am              Coffee/Tea/light snack
8:00am - 9:15am     Interval bootcamp class + yoga (indoor if raining, otherwise at the park)
9:30am                       Breakfast: overnight oats made two ways, fruit, hard boiled eggs
Free time                   Massage, chill, walk around
1:30pm    Lunch
Free time                   Chill the fuck out
5:30pm-6:30pm      Restorative/Slow yoga - we can make it a faster class (based on energy levels after wine tasting)
7:30pm                      Dinner prepared by Sara (protein options for all diets)
9:00pm                      Relax by the fire, soak in the hot tub, read a book.

Sunday
8:00am          Coffee/Tea/Fruit
8:30am-9:30am       Pre-hike vinyasa yoga
9:30am-10:30am    Breakfast: avocado or hummus toast, fruit, hard boiled eggs, overnight oats
10:30-10:45am        Check-out
11:00-1pm                5-mile hike with local guide Theresa Sutton (also a yoga teacher!)
2pm on                      Up to you! ...go enjoy some lunch in town, maybe some wine tasting, explore the area!

PRICING

Includes: Accommodations, all meals on Saturday, Sunday brunch, fitness classes, yoga, guided hike, wine tasting, snacks, some alcohol. There will be many gifts from our partners (Outdoor Voices, Vital Proteins, Social Sparkling Wine, Athleta, Bare Snacks, to name a few)
Not Included: Dinner Friday night, lunch Sunday, transportation to retreat (carpools will be organized for you if needed)

Rooms: All rooms have a super comfortable king bed, fireplace, tv, wifi and refrigerator; the single king rooms have balconies, most rooms have bathtubs (please request in your RSVP). The pool, hot tub, outdoor fireplaces are open year-round and yes, the pool is heated! To reserve your room, please send a non-refundable $200 deposit venmo at mindbodylove with the note: CV Spring 2019. Full amount must be paid by January 30th. We have room for 10 people total!

Note: If you’d like to bring a guest who doesn’t want to participate in any of the retreat’s activities, but wants to share your room, there’s an option for you. Also, if you do not want to stay at this hotel but want to do the retreat, there are options for you as well.
